COSTA RICA TROPHY-TRAIL: The event is open to professional and amateur runners who will participate in a mix of endurance, adventure and discovery through some of the countries most beautiful landscapes. The competition will begin near Arenal Volcanoe and trek through the coastal roads of Guanacaste and end in the village of Tamarindo. The competitors will not only endure the challenge of the mountainous trek through the valley’s but also enjoy the natural beauty that Costa Rica has to offer.
The organizers of this event will hand out drinks and snacks including fruits, energy bars and energy drinks. They will also have mechanical and medical assistance on hand if needed throughout the entire competition.

- Master Men A: runners from 30 to 39 years
- Master B Men: runners from 40 to 49 years
- Male Veteran: runners over 50 years
- Team (5 persons max.): A team consists of at least 3 people and a maximum of 5.
To remain in the race, a team must always be formed by
a minimum of 3 persons, the general classification time will
be the combined time of all members of the team plus any
possible time penalties.
- Company Team (5 persons max.) : A Company Team consists of at least 3 people and a maximum of 5 persons from the SAME company.
